Role and Responsibilities

Your focus will be supporting the Financial Planners in providing support to them and their clients. Some of the duties that the role will entail but are not limited to are as follows:

  • Administration and Compliance: maintain CRM database and assist clients with general enquiries as well as uphold compliant procedures within the practice
  • Sit in meeting with Adviser: have the opportunity to learn from an experienced adviser by note taking in meetings
  • Client Service: liaise with clients on behalf of the financial adviser and providing general advice where possible
  • Research and Product Comparison: conduct market research for superannuation, insurance, retirement, and investment products; and compare product costs, features, and benefits
  • Write Statements of Advice: develop a plan for the client which outlines the recommended strategies and products formulated in the advice
  • Implementation of Advice: prepare and lodge applications as well as follow up with superannuation funds and insurance providers

Qualifications and Education Requirements

This is a Full-time role. To be considered for this role, you will preferably have previous experience as a Financial Planning Associate within the financial planning industry. You would also preferably have the following:

  • Diploma of Financial Planning
  • 2-3 years previous experience in similar role
  • XPLAN Advice Software experience is preferred
